basically i had some old camcorder tapes that were out on to dvd- rw discs. they work perfectly fine in dvd players and also when just playing the video on VLC media player ... Help finding a camcorder for Basketball team - I need a video camera to fill Junior College basketball games. Tryng to reduce the size of some mkv movies.
First convertion eith handbrake (http://www.videohelp.com/tools/HandBrake) went fine and I got an mp4 file.
2nd convertion with same settings for another movie gave me an m4v - mpeg-4 file !!!

Are there any hardware VHS to DVD units that can automatically create a menu for converted videos?
I'm looking at buying one, however I will be using it to convert VHS to DVD for other people (sort of like an extra service in my business.)

The same is true for MMORPG's (or any large, persistent world) - we find a group with similar goals to hang out with (or adventure with or whatever). Asymmetry in Roleplay - Part 3 - Encounters - Recent versions of D&D have sought to promote the idea that parties of characters should be presented with a formulaic series of encounters with challenge ratings that are balanced according to their level, plus or minus a little. Here I would like to discuss the value of asymmetric encounters, in which the party are faced with a challenge that is trivially easy for them, or else so difficult they have little or no hope of success.
